What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance backend systems powering real-time bidding (RTB) and machine learning at scale.
• Develop and maintain the ML training platform and the production bidding infrastructure.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize critical, low-level system components.
• Ensure system reliability and scalability through comprehensive performance and correctness testing.
• Benchmark open-source Big Data and ML technologies to assess production suitability.

Requirements

• Expertise in designing and implementing complex IT systems.
• Proficiency in Linux and at least one language: Python, C++, Java, or Scala.
• Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Strong skills in evaluating and optimizing system performance from design through production.
• Location: Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPU programming and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Torch).
• Proven experience with distributed systems and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Flink).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar providers.
• Solid foundation in mathematics.
• Previous experience in the field of Machine Learning.
