What you will do
- Contribute to reliability and qualification plans and risk assessments for new product developments.
- Support cross-functional teams to ensure effective stress testing throughout the qualification process.
- Collaborate with wafer fab and packaging teams to evaluate silicon reliability and new assembly techniques.
- Develop new reliability methodologies in partnership with internal and external technical groups.
- Engage with customer quality engineering teams to ensure products meet internal and external standards.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions alongside design, process, and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Edinburgh, UK.
- BEng or BSc degree in Engineering or Physics.
- Understanding of IC reliability qualification plans per JEDEC and industry standards.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, IC manufacturing, and packaging technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data-driven approaches for issue resolution.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Automotive reliability requirements such as AEC Q100.
- Understanding of intrinsic and extrinsic reliability requirements.
- Familiarity with common silicon and package failure mechanisms.
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines within a team environment.
