What you will do

• Contribute to reliability and qualification plans and risk assessments for new product developments.
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure effective stress testing throughout the qualification process.
• Collaborate with wafer fab and packaging teams to evaluate silicon reliability and new assembly techniques.
• Develop new reliability methodologies in partnership with internal and external technical groups.
• Engage with customer quality engineering teams to ensure products meet internal and external standards.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions alongside design, process, and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Edinburgh, UK.
• BEng or BSc degree in Engineering or Physics.
• Understanding of IC reliability qualification plans per JEDEC and industry standards.
• Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, IC manufacturing, and packaging technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data-driven approaches for issue resolution.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Automotive reliability requirements such as AEC Q100.
• Understanding of intrinsic and extrinsic reliability requirements.
• Familiarity with common silicon and package failure mechanisms.
• Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines within a team environment.
