What you will do

• Design power electronics hardware including inverters, DC-DC converters, battery charging systems, and associated control circuitry.
• Lead hardware development through schematic design, PCB development, prototype build, validation, and production introduction.
• Develop power stages, gate drives, sensing circuits, protection systems, and communications interfaces.
• Conduct design reviews, FMEA, tolerance analysis, and design-for-manufacture (DFM) activities.
• Collaborate with software, controls, systems, manufacturing, and validation teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support EMC evaluation, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.

Requirements

• Experience developing power electronics hardware within automotive, electrification, industrial, or motorsport sectors.
• Deep understanding of power conversion topologies, gate drives, sensing, and protection circuitry.
• Knowledge of PCB design for power electronics, including EMC, thermal management, and high-current layouts.
• Proficiency with electronic CAD tools, ideally Altium Designer.
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or LTspice.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
