What you will do
- Lead global FP&A processes (budget KPIs, reforecast, monthly performance commentary and gap analysis) and deliver executive-ready reporting.
- Provide cross-functional financial analysis and business partnering to support corporate strategies and regional/global priorities.
- Own technical controlling topics including consolidations, transfer pricing, intercompany eliminations, multi-entity reporting, and foreign currency translation.
- Support and lead M&A activities: screening opportunities, challenging acquisition cases, performing financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
- Act as the main finance point of contact for Group Corporate Finance and for Country Business Managers and local finance teams on global requirements.
- Manage one direct report (FP&A Manager) and ensure high-quality outputs for decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or business partnering in multi-regional corporate environments.
- Proven M&A experience including due diligence, integration processes, valuation, and supporting acquisition decisions.
- Advanced IFRS knowledge (and US GAAP where relevant) plus strong understanding of global compliance frameworks.
- Advanced financial systems and tools: Excel and BI; Oracle ERP experience required.
- Fluency in English plus a local language; German is a strong advantage.
- Work permit requirement: must hold a valid work permit for the country of residence and be based in Europe.
