What you will do

• Design, deploy, and operate high-speed Ethernet-based front-end networks and data center fabrics.
• Manage WAN and long-haul infrastructure, including carrier circuits, DCI, and internet transit.
• Automate the deployment and day-to-day operations of multi-vendor Ethernet hardware using Python or Bash.
• Collaborate on DC layout, rack elevations, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for optics and cabling.
• Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues on routing, optics, and long-haul circuits.
• Partner with Architecture and Operations teams to maintain high observability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience with high-speed Ethernet technologies including VLAN, LACP, MLAG, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, and VXLAN.
• Strong knowledge of WAN and long-haul technologies such as MPLS, BGP, IPsec, GRE, and SD-WAN.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for network automation and tooling.
• Solid understanding of data center networking topologies and infrastructure best practices.
• Strong hardware and optics knowledge for BOM design and troubleshooting.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Arista (EOS) or Nokia networking platforms.
• Experience with large-scale DCI, long-haul optical transport, or carrier circuit management.
• Familiarity with storage networking over Ethernet and shared storage connectivity.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or network automation frameworks.
• Prior exposure to AI or hyperscale infrastructure environments.
