What you will do

• Support the Buyer in sourcing and developing commercial and fashion-forward products.
• Oversee the fitting and sealing of samples to ensure quality and style.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers, negotiating cost prices and delivery dates.
• Trade within the season to optimize sales and profits through reactive decision-making.
• Analyze sales data and competitor ranges to identify risks and growth opportunities.
• Manage the critical path to ensure all contracted delivery dates are met.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Buyer within Womenswear for a fast-paced global retailer or brand.
• Deep passion for fashion and a strong understanding of 20-something culture.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
• High attention to detail regarding selling prices, shipment dates, and product attributes.
• Ability to communicate and present effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant retail trading systems.
