What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including EPC, construction, land leases, and colocation arrangements.
• Lead contract negotiations with vendors, contractors, and landlords to balance commercial goals with operational risk.
• Provide business-oriented legal support to project and procurement teams throughout the data center lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks to ensure consistency and efficiency in contracting.
• Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments in Singapore and Malaysia to mitigate compliance risks.

Requirements

• Law degree (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent) from an accredited law school.
• 8+ years of post-qualification legal experience, ideally spanning law firms and in-house corporate roles.
• Familiarity with Singapore and/or Malaysia legal and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with data centers, infrastructure, EPC, real estate, or energy transactions.
• Proven ability to independently lead negotiations on complex commercial agreements.
• Admission to the Singapore or Malaysia Bar (or other common law jurisdiction) is preferred.
