What you will do

• Manage and execute the regulatory compliance framework for hirify.global Gold in alignment with BNM requirements.
• Act as the primary compliance contact and MLRO for Malaysia, building strong relationships with regulatory bodies.
• Monitor and interpret applicable laws, including AML/CFT and payment-related regulations, providing advisory to business units.
• Prepare, review, and submit accurate regulatory reports to Bank Negara Malaysia and other authorities.
• Lead complex compliance and ethics-related investigations, inspections, and audits.
• Analyze the effectiveness of compliance programs and implement necessary control measures.

Requirements

• Must be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a compliance-related function, preferably at a managerial level.
• Strong understanding of BNM regulations and the acquiring/payments industry.
• Prior experience in banking, payments, or financial services in compliance, risk, legal, or audit roles.
• Proven ability to work independently with strong ownership and accountability.

Nice to have

• Certification in Compliance or AML/CFT.
