What you will do

• Lead all technical alignment matters within assigned projects, ensuring cost, schedule, quality, and risk constraints are met.
• Establish alignment plans, define measurement methods, and convert requirements into a technical alignment approach.
• Execute and lead measurements using Theodolites, Laser Trackers, Photogrammetry, and Spatial Analyzer.
• Evaluate measurement results, summarize them in test reports, and discuss outcomes with customers.
• Develop alignment standards and research new metrology technologies.
• Train personnel and participate in AIT reviews and Non-Conformance Reviews (NRBs).

Requirements

• Degree in surveying/geodesy, aerospace engineering, physics, or a comparable qualification.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in optical measurements using theodolites, laser trackers, and photogrammetry.
• Advanced knowledge of SpatialAnalyzer for measurement execution and analysis.
• Experience with alignment for space projects, including documentation and budget management.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a significant advantage.
• Willingness for traveling and shift work.
