What you will do

• Perform 3-DoF trajectory design, optimization, targeting, and trade-off studies for launch missions.
• Execute and interpret high-fidelity 6-DoF simulations to validate mission designs and operational margins in coordination with the GNC team.
• Develop technical proposal content, including mission concepts, system descriptions, and compliance matrices for customers.
• Collaborate with specialists in GNC, propulsion, structures, and systems engineering to ensure technical consistency.
• Support flight preparation and mission readiness through trajectory validation and performance assessments.
• Maintain and evolve mission analysis models and workflows to ensure reproducibility and scalability.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in mission-specific 3-DoF and 6-DoF trajectory analysis and simulation.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into structured material for customers and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating technical inputs across multiple engineering domains.
• Location: Must be based in Ottobrunn, Germany

Nice to have

• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting launch campaigns, flight readiness reviews, or mission operations.
• Proficiency in additional languages.
