What you will do

• Own the end-to-end APAC Corporate Accounting function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all regional financial reporting.
• Manage statutory financial statements, local audits, board reporting, and corporate secretarial filings for all APAC entities.
• Lead the APAC month-end close, consolidation into the global group, and execution of intercompany and transfer pricing models.
• Build and develop a high-performing regional accounting team and manage relationships with outsourced service providers.
• Drive the adoption of Claude and AI tooling to automate accounting processes in an audit-ready manner.
• Partner with global Tax, Treasury, and Finance Systems to deploy core platforms and ensure regional regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years as a regional or group controller for a global multinational.
• Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a relevant bachelor's degree.
• Proven track record of building and leading multi-country accounting teams.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, and working knowledge of APAC statutory frameworks.
• Proficiency in enterprise ERP systems such as NetSuite, Workday Financials, SAP, or Oracle.
• Must be based in or able to work in Singapore under a hybrid policy.

• Experience building regional accounting functions at high-growth technology companies.
• Experience with IPO readiness, SOX implementation, or internal controls transformation.
• Experience standing up new legal entities across multiple APAC markets.
• Established network with Big 4 or advisory firms in the region.
