Salary: $66,120 - $202,634 per year

What you will do

• Solve complex problems with complete end-to-end solutions in an Agile environment.
• Build modern and secure health and clinical applications using MUMPs, InterSystems, and APIs.
• Analyze environment needs to ensure solutions align with current and future architecture.
• Perform Kernel Installation and Distribution System (KIDS) builds and create technical documentation (SDD/ICD).
• Develop code independently, participate in or lead code reviews, and release patches.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident (must have lived in the US for at least 3 years).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust security clearance.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Expert experience with MUMPs and the full project life cycle.
• Strong understanding of modern software design and development methodologies (Agile, OO).
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or an associated discipline (preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience with VA VistA and related tools.
• Safe Agile Framework (SAFe) certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, GitHub, or modern SCM.
• Knowledge of the Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP) and PMAS.
