What you will do

• Contribute to the design and documentation of electrical systems including lighting, power, switchboards, and earthing.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and specifications aligned with Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, hydraulic, fire, and structural engineers.
• Participate in project planning, design reviews, and quality assurance processes.
• Conduct site inspections and provide construction-phase support for complex building projects.
• Provide specialized technical advice while developing leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
• 3–5+ years of experience in electrical building services design within a consulting or contractor environment.
• Sound understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, and local authority requirements.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Revit MEP, PowerCAD, AutoCAD, AGi32, and ETAP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for multidisciplinary and client-facing activities.
• Australian Citizenship is highly regarded due to the nature of defense-related projects.
