Program Manager

TL;DR

Program Manager (Field Operations): Leading the design, planning, and execution of cloud seeding programs with an accent on operational delivery and stakeholder management. Focus on solving complex logistical challenges in remote environments and translating contracts into successful field operations.

Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Santa Fe, NM; Boulder, CO; Olympia, WA; or Sacramento, CA.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design, planning, and execution of cloud seeding programs.
• Manage cross-functional field teams including operators, engineers, and instrumentation specialists.
• Partner with Government Affairs to transition contracts into operational plans.
• Solve complex operational challenges in remote terrain and adverse weather.
• Cultivate stakeholder relationships to expand program scope and identify new opportunities.
• Own stakeholder and internal reporting throughout the operational season.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in designated US locations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in challenging environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward creative solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Self-directed and comfortable operating with minimal guidance.
• Willingness to work in remote and physically demanding environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in operational or logistical planning (military, aviation, emergency management).
• Experience in business development or client-facing relationship management.
• Bachelor's degree in atmospheric science, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with GIS tools and spatial data.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
