TL;DR
Director, People (HR): Leading and executing the People strategy at , overseeing the full employee lifecycle for US and Canadian teams with an accent on talent acquisition, organizational development, and performance management. Focus on building high-performing teams, strengthening leadership capability, and ensuring alignment with business priorities through data-driven HR operations.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Encino, California (3-4x a week in office)
Salary: $150,000 - $185,000 USD

What you will do
- Direct all aspects of talent acquisition, including employer branding and recruitment strategy.
- Oversee day-to-day People operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS audits.
- Lead organizational development initiatives, including performance reviews and quarterly training programs.
- Manage employee relations, providing coaching to management and maintaining required documentation.
- Partner with leadership to execute compensation philosophy and manage the Annual Operating Plan.
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools to improve HR operations and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to work from the Encino, CA office 3-4 days per week.
- 6–10 years of hands-on HR experience.
- Experience working with or within a Professional Employer Organization (PEO).
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred).
- Experience supporting HR operations within a public company environment.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, Organizational Development, or Psychology.
- Familiarity with B Corp principles and the CPG industry.
