Product Development Manager (Beverage): Leading the conceptualization, design, and development of new and existing beverage products with an accent on stevia-sweetened formulations and sensory optimization. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Encino, CA (Hybrid: 4 days/week in office)

Salary: $115,000–$130,000 USD

What you will do

• Identify white space opportunities and innovation concepts based on consumer insights and market trends.
• Lead end-to-end product development, translating briefs into scalable, cost-effective formulations.
• Apply expertise in stevia-sweetened formulations to optimize taste and sensory impact.
• Conduct benchtop trials to assess solubility, dispersion, and shelf-life indicators.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects remain on strategy, budget, and schedule.
• Support scale-up and commercialization processes at co-pack facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in the beverage industry with product development and regulatory responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience formulating with stevia and qualification as a trained stevia taster.
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations and ingredient compliance.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Experience managing vendor partners and leading cross-functional teams.
