What you will do

• Design and maintain high-performance microservices handling massive traffic volumes.
• Build and optimize analytics engines to process 50+ million daily events in real-time.
• Develop and document robust APIs for partner-facing dashboards.
• Optimize database queries across Druid and MySQL for millisecond response times.
• Collaborate on end-to-end service ownership within a Kubernetes-based infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in production Go.
• Deep expertise in designing distributed systems using event buses like Kafka.
• Strong understanding of data storage and query optimization at scale.
• Experience with columnar databases and relational database performance tuning.
• Must be willing to work from Hamburg, Germany (relocation support provided).

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform, Docker, or serverless.
• Prior experience with columnar databases like Druid.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like TypeScript and React.
