What you will do

• Ensure compliance with biodiversity regulations, primarily the Nagoya Protocol, ABS regulations, and the EU Deforestation Regulation.
• Develop and implement harmonized due diligence concepts, policies, guidelines, and SOPs.
• Perform risk assessments (legal, reputational, commercial) for projects and sourcings.
• Coordinate ABS compliance with internal R&D, purchasing, sustainability, and legal teams, as well as external authorities and partners.
• Manage customer requests and represent the company in external and internal working groups.
• Lead awareness-raising initiatives and perform training for internal teams.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Master’s degree, engineering diploma, or PhD in science, regulatory affairs, or sustainability.
• Ability to apply complex national legislation and coordinate international projects.
• Strong agility, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in project management.
• C1 level in English and French.
