What you will do
- Act as the subject matter expert on approved alternatives, assisting advisors with education and implementation of subscription/redemption processes.
- Communicate complex investment capabilities for both private and registered vehicles to advisors and their clients.
- Develop and enhance educational resources to keep advisors updated on the suite of offerings and platforms.
- Present the Alternative products range to Financial Advisors through workshops and investment symposiums.
- Collaborate with internal Business Development and operations teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience.
- Monitor the alternatives landscape, including competitor updates and product trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- FINRA Series 7 certification (must be held at application or obtained within 90 days of hire).
- 5+ years of work experience in financial services (or 2+ years with an Advanced Degree in Alternatives).
- 2+ years of specific experience with Alternative Investments within financial institutions.
- 1+ years of experience presenting to or interacting with financial advisors.
- Must be located in or able to work from Boston, MA.
Nice to have
- In-depth knowledge of 1031/721 Exchange, Opportunity Zone Funds, Oil and Gas Partnerships, or Non-traded REITs.
- Experience collaborating with wholesalers and intermediaries.
- Experience with complex investment solutions designed for HNW clients.
