What you will do

  • Translate departmental strategy into detailed digital-first commissioning plans and slates aligned with editorial priorities.
  • Manage commissioning budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Define and oversee YouTube scheduling and publishing plans in collaboration with Channel Managers.
  • Implement windowing strategies across platforms to ensure content performance against competitors.
  • Own the holdback release process and tracking for both catalogue and new commissions.
  • Build and maintain international co-production relationships with global public broadcasters and partners.

Requirements

  • Strong experience managing complex commissioning plans and budgets within a digital video environment.
  • Deep understanding of children's content commissioning, rights management, and distribution.
  • Knowledge of windowing strategies and audience behavior specific to children's content.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across editorial, commercial, and operational teams.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

  • Knowledge and experience with YouTube platform functionality and optimization strategies.
