What you will do
- Coordinate payment preparation and approval processes to ensure timely and compliant disbursements.
- Maintain accurate record keeping for payment vouchers, travel requests, and expense claim acquittals.
- Oversee travel forms, travel request budgets, and cash advancements in alignment with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
- Prepare travel safety and security briefing documents for program personnel.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal colleagues.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Portfolio Team to ensure financial and administrative systems are managed correctly.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Business.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in financial management, basic accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Experience in general office administration, logistics, procurement, and asset management.
- Valid work rights in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work confidently under pressure with high attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Experience working in donor-funded activities.
- Regional experience and knowledge of Pacific financial institutions.
