TL;DR

Location: Hybrid; must be based in Bloomington, MN or Chicago, IL (or be eligible for relocation to these areas). Role requires a business traveler schedule with consistent travel of 60% or more.

Salary: $233,993 - $416,724 per year

What you will do

  • Lead business management and client relationship development specifically within the Upper Mid-West region.
  • Manage pursuit teams and execute capture strategies for water and wastewater engineering projects.
  • Account for project performance and new business objectives, including top and bottom line financial growth.
  • Oversee project execution, managing budgets, invoicing, payments, and performance reviews.
  • Direct and mentor engineering managers, providing coaching and recommendations for staff promotion.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of active water/wastewater experience with demonstrated leadership in the Central region market.
  • Professional Engineering License and a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in budget management and financial metrics.
  • Advanced contract negotiation skills, including knowledge of risk, pricing, and payment terms.
  • Ability to travel consistently 60% or more of the work schedule.
