What you will do

• Oversee accounting staff for international entities, managing day-to-day priorities and professional development.
• Review full-cycle accounting for foreign subsidiaries, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closes.
• Establish accounting infrastructure, local reporting processes, and banking setups in new jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory reporting and accounting rules across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage joint venture reporting and expenditures in alignment with JV agreements.
• Identify and implement automation solutions, including AI agents, to streamline accounting workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 8 years of experience.
• Proven experience managing accounting staff and overseeing international, multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
• Ability to work independently and flexibility to accommodate meetings with overseas staff and vendors.
