TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the US (Offices in Kansas City, Bentonville, Philadelphia, Denver, or Lenexa)

Salary: $96,800 – $145,200

What you will do

  • Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for large-scale K-12 and Higher Education projects.
  • Oversee the preparation of design documents, system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Develop solutions to advanced engineering problems and provide discipline-wide technical guidance.
  • Mentor and coach designers and engineers, supervising less experienced staff.
  • Conduct final quality reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) and manage key client and partner relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and applicable electrical codes/standards.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (required for EOR duties).
  • Experience in K-12 or Higher Education environments is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

  • Technical certifications such as RCDD, NICET, CPD, LEED, or WELL.
