Electrical Engineer (Healthcare)

TL;DR

Salary: $90,000 – $125,000

What you will do

• Perform electrical system design for healthcare, pharmaceutical, and advanced manufacturing facilities.
• Develop one-line diagrams, load calculations, short circuit studies, and arc flash analyses.
• Size and specify medium and low voltage distribution systems, including switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
• Prepare lighting and power plans, panel schedules, and equipment layouts using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Perform site investigations and provide construction support, including RFIs and submittal reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 2-5 years of electrical design experience.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Diego, CA.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NEC, CBC, Title 24, and NFPA standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with HCAI / OSHPD standards.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• LEED accreditation or sustainable design experience.
