Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 Annually

What you will do

• Elicit and document functional and data requirements from various stakeholder groups.
• Translate business needs into well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain data flow diagrams, process models, and system context documentation.
• Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and traceability matrices linked to requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to validate features using reviews, demos, and BDD scenario definitions.
• Support defect tracking and produce testing summary reports for releases and compliance checkpoints.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a business-related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust Clearance.
• Proven ability to write technically precise, specific, and testable requirements.
• Technical fluency to read API documentation, data schemas, and system architecture diagrams.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for requirements management and backlog grooming.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments alongside engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Gherkin-style acceptance criteria and BDD.
• Exposure to OCR/AI-assisted workflows, document processing, or forms automation.
• Knowledge of event-driven systems and API-integrated platforms.
• Experience on federal government IT programs involving compliance and regulated data handling.
