What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business, technical, and operational requirements from stakeholders.
• Produce user stories, process flows, SOPs, interface descriptions, and release documentation.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and review sessions to clarify business needs.
• Support backlog creation and refinement by translating input into features and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain documentation for system behavior, data exchange processes, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and government teams to ensure project alignment.

Requirements

• Must reside within the continental US
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, business analysis, or related roles.
• Strong experience documenting software delivery, APIs, and technical workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government clearance

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or federal government programs.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability and API documentation.
• Knowledge of SAFe, DevSecOps, or release management practices.
