TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Enterprise SaaS): Sourcing qualified opportunities for the sales team within the commercial contracting industry with an accent on account-based strategies and multi-threading across decision-makers. Focus on executing targeted outbound sequences and building high-quality business cases for Enterprise AEs.

Location: Must be based in the US or Canada. Hybrid work schedules available with hubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, and Raleigh.

Salary: CAD 95,000 OTE (base salary + commission)

What you will do

  • Prospect into enterprise accounts using account-based strategies.
  • Multi-thread across decision-makers from operations to finance and IT to uncover pain and alignment with product value.
  • Research accounts deeply to tailor outreach to business initiatives and industry trends.
  • Execute targeted outbound sequences via phone, email, LinkedIn, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise AEs to build high-quality opportunities with clear business cases.
  • Utilize Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to track activity and pipeline progress.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a Sales Development or comparable role at a SaaS company.
  • Based in the US or Canada.
  • US applicants: Must not be located in Alaska, Hawaii, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, West Virginia, or Wyoming.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a persistence-driven mindset.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the commercial contractor industry.
  • Previous experience at a technology startup.
