TL;DR

Senior Customer Success Manager (SaaS/Cybersecurity): Managing relationships and driving business value for State, Local, and Education (SLED) customers with an accent on retention, executive alignment, and strategic business reviews. Focus on navigating government procurement cycles, ensuring compliance, and translating technical identity solutions into actionable business outcomes.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in New York City, San Francisco, or Sacramento. Must be a US Citizen.

Salary: $151,000 — $254,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with SLED customers to ensure retention, happiness, and significant ROI.
  • Implement proactive customer success plans and Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs) to accelerate growth and align KPIs.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between customers and internal Sales, Support, Engineering, and Product teams.
  • Collect and communicate customer feedback to drive continuous product improvement and evolution.
  • Identify renewal risks and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful renewals and spot expansion opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or consulting with SaaS enterprise products for large SLED organizations.
  • Deep understanding of SLED regulatory and compliance requirements such as StateRAMP, FERPA, and CJIS.
  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible to clear specific state, local, or educational background checks.
  • Based in or near Sacramento, CA or New York City, NY.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging with C-level executives and institutional leaders.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
