Environmental Technician (Remediation)

Compensation: $28 - $38 per hour

What you will do

• Lead daily field operations for remediation, demolition, excavation, and site restoration activities.
• Supervise union and non-union field crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
• Oversee pump-and-treat system operations and vapor intrusion mitigation systems.
• Enforce project-specific Health and Safety Plans and ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, production reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate work sequencing and communicate progress to project management and regulatory partners.

Requirements

• HS Diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass client-required drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle records check.
• Strong background in supervising field crews and heavy equipment operations.
• Ability to maintain clear daily logs and field reports.
• Must be available for on-site work in Pompton Lakes, NJ.

Nice to have

• 10 years of experience in remediation or site supervision.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Experience with EPA Superfund, DOD, or DOE projects.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
