What you will do

• Perform construction stormwater inspections and environmental compliance site audits.
• Interpret construction plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) to document compliance with laws.
• Manage and record corrective actions across multiple construction sites.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve compliance issues.
• Navigate active construction sites on foot in various weather and terrain conditions.
• Travel across the coverage region, including occasional overnight stays and weekend inspections.

Requirements

• Must be based in or near Chicago, IL.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participant).
• 2-5 years of experience in stormwater inspections or environmental compliance.
• Proficiency with GPS, mapping technology, and mobile inspection tools.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and ownership of a vehicle for work use.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
