What you will do

• Lead tax technology initiatives focusing on automation, AI-enabled workflows, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee the global indirect tax lifecycle, including accounting, compliance, filings, and reporting.
• Act as the AI champion for the tax function, identifying use cases and guiding the team on approved tools.
• Manage indirect tax research, audits, and controversy matters while maintaining internal controls.
• Lead and develop team members through coaching and direct people management.
• Partner with IT, Product, and Finance to optimize system integration and tax-relevant reporting.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or advanced degree (MST/JD/LLM) is a plus.
• Proven people leadership experience managing and coaching teams.
• Strong expertise in indirect tax accounting and compliance in a global environment.
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools such as n8n, Alteryx, and ChatGPT.

• Experience with NetSuite general ledger systems.
