What you will do

• Own Entity Data Foundation: partner with data-producing teams to onboard entities to the shared semantic model, drive attribute serving at production scale, and maintain data health and governance contracts.
• Define and build Trip Intelligence: create the trip entity schema, resolve competing trip representations across systems, and deliver a near-real-time, queryable trip intelligence layer.
• Lead technical design for real-time streaming architecture, lifecycle event taxonomy, and privacy-safe handling of message/conversation data.
• Partner with compute and data infrastructure teams to advance realtime data processing capabilities.
• Validate the signal layer with proactive trip support, customer support triage, and host AI product teams; review designs across attribute serving, event pipelines, and cross-system entity mapping.
• Manage and develop a team of ~7 engineers and represent the program in executive-level reviews.

Requirements

• Location: US - Remote Eligible; must live in a state where hirify.global, Inc. has a registered entity.
• 9+ years of industry experience, including 3–5+ years in engineering management.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Background in data engineering/platform engineering/data infrastructure with strong entity modeling, schema evolution, and data contract experience.
• Hands-on fluency with distributed data systems (batch+streaming pipelines, online/offline serving, or event-driven architectures) to drive design reviews.
• Comfort with greenfield work and strong communication to align producers and consumers across a complex program.
