What you will do

• Develop scalable telemetry and event-driven data collection systems across web, app, and platform experiences.
• Build integration services using APIs and cloud-native services to connect internal systems with external marketing and analytics platforms.
• Construct and enhance data pipelines and transformation frameworks using SQL, Spark, and dbt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data contracts, schemas, and instrumentation standards.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and data quality checks throughout pipelines and services.
• Contribute to platform architecture decisions focusing on modularity, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Experience building scalable data pipelines using SQL, dbt, Spark, or related technologies.
• Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities.
• Experience building cloud-native data solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proven experience crafting telemetry and event collection systems across web, app, or platform environments.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles including CI/CD, version control, testing, and observability.

Nice to have

• Experience with tracking platforms like Customer Journey Analytics, Snowplow, Segment, or Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with CDPs and marketing ecosystems like Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Data Cloud, or Braze.
• Japanese language proficiency.
