TL;DR

Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS): Designing and implementing cloud storage solutions for the AWS portfolio with an accent on application modernization and innovation. Focus on conducting technical POCs, qualifying customer opportunities, and optimizing enterprise storage for AI/ML and database workloads.

Location: Must be based in Canada. Remote work is available, though some hybrid/in-person expectations apply.

Salary: 180,200 - 233,200 CAD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Identify and qualify customer opportunities by designing customized AWS Cloud solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations at partner briefings, sales meetings, and industry events.
  • Design and implement proofs-of-concept (POCs) to demonstrate the value of proposed solutions.
  • Coordinate the transition of new customer wins to Professional Services and Customer Success teams.
  • Engage with the technical community through industry meet-ups and user groups.
  • Maintain opportunity tracking in Salesforce and stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Solutions Architect role.
  • 5+ years of experience with hirify.global ONTAP.
  • Deep technical expertise in AWS Cloud concepts and technologies.
  • Proven experience with X-as-a-Service solutions and conducting technical POCs in pre-sales.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise storage for AI/ML, Databases, VMware, SAP, or HPC.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, and DevOps orchestration tools.
