TL;DR

Accounting Client & Product Support Specialist (Fintech): Supporting customers with billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation within a financial services environment with an accent on accounts receivable management and dispute resolution. Focus on analyzing large data sets, managing delinquent accounts, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

Location: Hybrid. Must be based in or work out of one of the following offices: Monett, MO; Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; or Springfield, MO. Requires office attendance 1 time per week for meetings.

Salary: $48,000 - $60,000

What you will do

  • Support customers with billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation inquiries.
  • Review unpaid invoices, investigate discrepancies, and resolve disputed balances.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems and policies for collections management.
  • Interact with internal and external customers via phone and email to resolve accounts receivable questions.
  • Manage the resolution of billing issues and research delinquent or escalated accounts.
  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and assist less experienced peers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience within a financial institution.
  • Professional experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, filtering).
  • Ability to work core hours 9am-3pm CST and support phone queues 1 day a week from 8am-5pm CST.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for meetings, trainings, or conferences.

Nice to have

  • Associate degree.
  • Strong math and reasoning skills.
  • Knowledge of credit management principles and practices.
  • Experience monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payment.
