Principal Product Manager (AI)

TL;DR

Principal Product Manager (AI/Agentic Automation): Driving the product direction for coding agents and non-deterministic autonomous agents within complex business processes with an accent on agent design patterns, tool-calling, and MCP. Focus on designing skills and APIs for external agents, composing deterministic workflows with non-deterministic reasoning, and ensuring agent reliability in production.

Location: Bellevue, WA. Work arrangement can be hybrid, office-based, or remote depending on business needs.

What you will do

• Own the multi-year vision for how internal and third-party agents build and operate automations across the platform.
• Design skills, tools, and APIs that enable external coding agents (e.g., Claude Code) to author, run, and debug automations.
• Evolve internal coding agents (AutoPilots), focusing on reasoning capabilities and human-agent handoffs.
• Define the integration of non-deterministic agents into complex business processes alongside deterministic workflows.
• Collaborate with major customers on production deployments to identify and fix specific agent failures.
• Act as a builder by prototyping and shipping reference implementations using coding agents.

Requirements

• 8+ years in technical PM or engineering roles with an emphasis on automation, orchestration platforms, or applied agentic AI.
• Proven experience building business process orchestration, workflow engines, or agent platforms.
• Deep fluency in agentic AI, including tool-calling, MCP, coding agents, computer use, evals, and observability.
• Builder mindset with the ability to write code or use prompts to create prototypes.
• First-principles thinker capable of producing defensible direction in ambiguous environments.
• Experience working with regulated, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Nice to have

• Background at a frontier AI lab, hyperscaler, or as an early PM at a startup in the automation space.
• Experience taking a product from 0 to 1.
• Strong opinions and evidence regarding the trajectory of agentic automation over the next 24 months.
