Salary: $140,000–$160,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Act as a trusted thought partner to the founder, handling strategic questions and market analysis.
• Lead hiring efforts, including onboarding two engineers in San Francisco.
• Establish and manage project management processes with goal setting, metrics, and accountability.
• Own internal operations such as compliance, controls, CRM, and BI systems to minimize founder workload.
• Drive AI and automation initiatives to connect company data and improve decision-making.
• Fill operational gaps by owning undefined problems end-to-end and automating or delegating solutions.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in San Francisco, USA
• Experience in project management and strategic planning.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code or Codex and automation technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.
• Competent computer user with ability to quickly learn new domains and conduct research.
• High energy, agency, thoroughness, and alignment with company values.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance, CRM, and BI systems.
• Background in startups or open source contributions.
