Regional Operations Director (Professional Services)

Location: Must be based in New York, Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa, or Washington, DC. Ability to travel 50%+ to partner firms is required.

Salary: $200K – $220K base + Equity + Bonus

What you will do

• Deploy the Operations Playbook across the portfolio to standardize billing, collections, and WIP management.
• Drive working capital improvements, specifically focusing on DSO reduction and realization rate optimization.
• Develop firm-level capacity planning frameworks and operational KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate regional FP&A, HR, Compliance, and Legal needs across the partner firm portfolio.
• Oversee technology and infrastructure deployment and practice management system adoption.
• Manage the operational side of tuck-in acquisitions and the 120-day integration processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of operations leadership in professional services (accounting, consulting, advisory) with direct P&L exposure.
• Proven track record in improving working capital performance and financial acumen.
• Experience implementing standardized operating rhythms across multiple sites or locations.
• Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization without direct authority.
• High ownership and ability to manage multiple conhirify.global initiatives with tight timelines.
• Ability to travel 50%+ to partner firms and regional meetings.

Nice to have

• Experience in PE-backed roll-ups or multi-site integration environments.
• Familiarity with accounting firm operations and common practice management systems.
• Experience transitioning HR operating models to shared services or COE models.
• Exposure to operational BI/KPI dashboards and performance management.
• Prior involvement in M&A integration playbooks.
