Production Support Analyst

TL;DR

Production Support Analyst: Monitoring and maintaining over 70 applications for the Department of State with an accent on incident management, root cause analysis, and technical documentation. Focus on collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot complex issues and optimizing system performance through SQL analysis.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Crystal City, VA (Hybrid: at least 1 day onsite per week)

What you will do

• Monitor production applications, scheduled jobs, and the incident management ticketing system.
• Analyze end-user incidents and requests, providing direct solutions or escalating to appropriate resolver groups.
• Create and maintain Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot incidents and research root causes.
• Write and execute SQL queries to analyze database tables, functions, and procedures.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance or higher required.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex technical and process issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer and team interaction.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with at least one day onsite per week in Crystal City, VA.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL and Toad.
