What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle software and databases on Linux servers.
• Create, clone, and migrate database environments using SQL and Oracle tools.
• Administer user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure database security.
• Apply patches, upgrades, and fixes to maintain system health and stability.
• Configure and support Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and reporting.
• Troubleshoot performance, availability, and replication issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Database Administrator with strong Oracle skills.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle installation, cloning, and migration.
• Experience administering databases on Linux servers.
• Strong knowledge of database security, patching, and user access management.
• Must be able to work in the Washington, DC area and work in person at least once per week.
• Ability to attain a Secret clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting secure or government environments.
• Proficiency in managing and monitoring Oracle GoldenGate replication.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
