Salary: $189,300 – $403,700

What you will do

• Define and evolve a modern enterprise architecture vision, including principles, governance, and reusable patterns.
• Guide strategic technology decisions while balancing innovation, scalability, and operational sustainability.
• Influence and align senior stakeholders across scientific, business, and technology organizations.
• Support transformation initiatives to modernize legacy ecosystems into modular, interoperable digital platforms.
• Drive architectural thinking that enables seamless data flow, automation, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to support future scientific and business needs.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in South San Francisco at least 3 days a week.
• PhD with 12+ years, MS with 15+ years, or BS with 17+ years of relevant experience in a scientific or technical field.
• Proven experience in enterprise or solution architecture within complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong understanding of modern digital architecture concepts including cloud, integration, data, and AI-enabled ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives in large-scale environments.

• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, biotech, or regulated environments.
