What you will do

• Provide direction, oversight, and mentoring for the Hardware Team.
• Support the Head of Engineering with budget, capacity planning, and infrastructure strategy.
• Influence technical solutions and improve internal processes.
• Develop metrics to support hardware task planning and estimation.
• Identify and mitigate issues during the execution of hardware tasks.
• Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect within the team.

Requirements

• UK citizenship required due to the nature of military secret materials.
• Ability to hold or gain National Security Vetting to SC level.
• Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Proven track record in delivering complex hardware solutions in R&D and product development.
• Proficiency in at least one core area: electrical, RF electronic, digital electronic, or mechanical engineering.
• Very good command of written and verbal English.
