What you will do

• Advise business, product, and engineering teams on day-to-day privacy and data protection questions.
• Support the Group DPO in developing the company's data protection management system and internal guidelines.
• Draft and negotiate data processing agreements, transfer mechanisms, and privacy notices.
• Manage data subject requests, personal data breaches, and communications with supervisory authorities.
• Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory developments in data protection across the group.

Requirements

• University degree in law from a European university, focusing on data protection, IT/IP, or regulatory law.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in data protection/privacy law within a law firm, regulatory authority, or in-house.
• Solid working knowledge of GDPR and related European and national data protection laws.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must be based in or able to work from Barcelona, Spain or Vienna, Austria.

Nice to have

• Completed bar exam or privacy certification such as CIPP/E.
• Familiarity with the regulatory environment for financial services and crypto-assets.
• Proficiency in German.
