What you will do

• Build and grow a high-performance software engineering team in Manchester.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product management to define goals and requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and remove project impediments for the team.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality software through rigorous validation and testing cycles.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of engineers.
• Drive the adoption of AI tools and technologies within the software engineering process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing technology teams.
• Deep expertise in Node, React, Javascript, and AWS/GCP.
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and retain high-performing engineers.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Manchester office Monday through Thursday.
