Location: Hybrid (London). Must be able to work from the office a minimum of 60% of the time.

Salary: £120,000 – £122,000

What you will do

• Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams, supporting their growth and development through inclusive leadership.
• Define and drive the long-term technical vision for the supply platform ecosystem.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, and Commercial stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals.
• Drive the adoption of AI-enabled and agentic workflows to improve engineering efficiency and automation.
• Lead large-scale platform modernization and architectural transformation initiatives.
• Champion engineering excellence, focusing on resilient, observable, and scalable system design.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading multiple engineering teams in platform or distributed systems environments.
• Strong track record of building inclusive, high-performing engineering organizations.
• Experience leading large-scale technical change programs and platform modernization.
• Ability to balance long-term technical strategy with pragmatic delivery and operational excellence.
• Experience applying AI or automation capabilities within engineering or operational domains.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous environments.
