What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to measure and improve product quality and production efficiency.
• Resolve production quality issues by driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain QA processes meeting defense and nuclear standards (ISO 9001, ASME NQA-1, MIL-STD, ITAR, FAR/DFARS).
• Champion Lean and process improvement initiatives using tools like SPC, FMEA, and DOE.
• Act as the primary point of contact for quality issues with customers, government representatives, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing, preferably in defense or aerospace.
• Proof of US Citizenship (US Passport, Birth Certificate, or Naturalization Certificate) to meet NOFORN requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Experience with defense contracting and government compliance standards (ITAR, FAR/DFARS).
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds and possess accurate color vision.
