What you will do

• Hire and develop a reliability team spanning Build Reliability Engineers, Quality Inspectors, and Supplier Quality Engineers.
• Develop and improve quality processes, including non-conformance, supplier evaluation, and PFMEAs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to create quality plans from receiving inspection through vehicle handoff.
• Investigate failures, drive corrective actions, and lead containment efforts to reduce risk across production.
• Manage supplier quality processes and analyze metrics to resolve process escapes.
• Establish and report on key quality dashboards to provide leadership visibility into reliability trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, mathematics, or other relevant engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of experience managing large teams on technically complex projects.
• 6+ years of experience in high-volume, rapid production environments (manufacturing, integration, or quality).
• Deep expertise in hardware manufacturing, including machined parts, electrical assemblies, PCBAs, and harnessing.
• Active Top Secret Clearance or active DoD Secret clearance with SAP eligibility.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR.

Nice to have

• Experience leading organizations through the AS9100D compliance process and audits.
• Proficiency with NDE/NDT inspection methods and associated equipment.
• Experience with solar module lines, battery manufacturing, and cleanroom production environments.
• Experience developing non-conformance documentation and corrective action systems.
