TL;DR
Digital Adoption & Experience Strategist (SaaS): Designing and owning the intelligent, behavior-triggered layer of the post-purchase customer experience with an accent on in-app learning, onboarding journeys, and segmentation. Focus on driving higher activation and reduced churn through advanced learning experience design and Pendo implementation.
Location: Remote (Must be based in the US)
Salary: $108,900 – $136,000 + annual bonus

What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end in-app learning experience strategy, including guide design, microcopy, and activation triggers via Pendo.
- Architect and optimize the digital customer onboarding journey to move users from activation to confident product use.
- Design and maintain the customer segmentation framework to drive personalization across digital adoption touchpoints.
- Serve as the strategic content lead for onboarding communications, ensuring behavioral triggers drive genuine adoption.
- Define and own performance metrics (engagement, activation rates, feature adoption) and report business impact to leadership.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Support to align on shared KPIs and UX guardrails.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States (eligible for 401k and US benefits).
- 5+ years of experience in learning experience design with a strong UX focus.
- 3+ years of strategic experience with in-app guidance platforms, specifically Pendo.
- 2+ years of experience owning customer-facing lifecycle communications and behavior-triggered messaging.
- Proficiency with Figma for designing interaction mockups and behavioral analytics for funnel analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, UX Design, HCI, Communications, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a relevant field or professional UX certification (e.g., Nielsen Norman).
- Experience in B2B SaaS post-purchase CX or customer enablement environments.
- Pendo certification or experience with AI-assisted enablement and conversational learning design.
- Experience designing for global audiences and conducting UX research/usability testing.
