What you will do

• Execute daily modeling work including data processing, model adjustment, and result validation to deliver robust results.
• Identify and solve quality and statistical data issues throughout the course of projects.
• Manage the technical and statistical components of analytical products.
• Contribute to customized projects and the development of innovative solutions for industry applications.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on project design and provide technical support for client presentations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python.
• Solid knowledge of statistics and the capability to design new methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms (e.g., decision tree, random forest, SVM, XGBOOST, network analysis).
• Effective communication and project management skills.
• Located in Shanghai, China

Nice to have

• Knowledge of R, VBA, SQL, and visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Experience using Spark or PySpark.
• Experience with large data sets and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive).
• Experience using Arcgis or QGIS.
• Experience in the FMCG or Retail industry.
